When is kitchen nightmares on 2017

Though reality television shows claims to depict real-life situations and follow everyday individuals, not every series is as authentic as it claims to be. Yes, reality TV shows typically come equipped with writers, producers, and storylines that the creators look to capitalize on to make it more entertaining for viewers.

So, fans have been dying to know, is the hot-headed chef faking his outbursts? In , the British chef ventured across the pond in a new reality TV show, which showed the outspoken cook helping struggling restaurants across America. Gordon and his team would retrain the staff members, remodel the business, and help the owners take back their eatery. One of the biggest highlights of the show was when the chef would butt heads with staff members and fight with stubborn owners.

Read on to find out. Eventually Gordon finds a dish that is available, but his fresh tomato soup is canned, and he knows it. After his lunch, or lack of it, Gordon and Ricky go head-to-head in the kitchen. The kitchen staff are given instructions to clean everything along with big buckets of soapy water, and even the waitresses are given the task of washing down every surface in the dining room.

He quickly discovers the Pamona artists colony is young, vibrant and diverse, and also not really a fine-dining type of area. That night a sudden influx of theater-goers sees the restaurant packed for once. The staff struggle to cope, many items are off the menu causing fireworks between Ricky and Tabitha that would be worthy of any centennial celebration.

He and Gordon return to the restaurant where Lela sees what Buzz was taking. Finding, selling and restoring custom cars. Sounds like a pretty cushy job for a guy who was supposedly 1. I call shenanigans on Rick's financial situation going into the show. Seems like he didn't wanna put in the work himself, but wanted J Willy's to be as successful as his other restaurant, and wanted a nice new menu and renovations on the restaurant to go with it.

Dang I was hoping to actually get to visit a kitchen nightmares restaurant! This one seemed doable! Rick and his wife are responsible for taking on more properties than they could effectively manage, and for partnering up with John, but John is still a huge part of the problem. The staff is pretty biased here. They were upset at Rick for not being at J Willy's more, but do they also expect John to go up to the restaurant Rick and his wife are managing to help out?

No, because the problem is John's incompetence, not theirs. Yes, Rick and his wife should have been more hands on; there were so many other things they could have done before it got this bad. Inspecting the kitchen, taking on a new partner and buying John out, hiring a more qualified GM -- but that doesn't let John off the hook. John just seemed like he had no will to even try to improve. When John just happily sat by and allowed his kitchen staff to start sending out sourdough and frozen products with the fresh price tag, it was pretty evident that the vast majority of the reason why J Willy's was doing so poorly is because John is so aggressively incompetent and doesn't actually care about the customers or food at all.

While it's nice that they chose to "close" than reduce quality, it's obvious that the practical decision they made here was to leverage the reputation of the business as it was to close a deal on selling it for enough of a price to try to cover the outstanding debts they had.

Odds are, they managed to sell the restaurant off for enough of a price to get rid of most, if not all, the debt they had. It'd be hard to work on restoring classic cars if you were in that much debt, so clearly that debt isn't hovering over them and the only obvious reason why is because they were able to sell this restaurant off.

Rick and his wife lived 3 hours away. It's pretty difficult to be hands on in a situation like that so yes, the other owner was responsible for running the restaurant day to day and did a poor job. Reality Tv Revisited. John admits that it has being tough as they were struggling. The cook Steve uses cans and bought in sauces to get food out as quick as possible. With the increasing negative reviews, the customer numbers declined heavily. Between the three of them they have invested all of the money they have. Gordon arrives and thinks that the restaurant looks like it closed down ten years ago.

He isn't impressed with the desperate flashing sign out the front. He meets John and Rick and Tricia and he sits down to read the menu and order food. While waiting for his food, Gordon notices the sad and grim atmosphere of the restaurant.

The food is terrible and strange looking and the pizza is covered in ranch dressing. In the kitchen, it is clear that John has cut corners in order to save money. John says the menu is designed to cut a lot of labor out since there is no chef. All of the kitchen staff describe themselves as cooks as they are just reheating food. Tricia says the problem is John as he lacks the passion to run the business. John argues that it is hard to be passionate without any money and the business going downhill.

In the kitchen, all of the ingredients on the pizza are frozen or from a can or bottle. There are cheap cuts of chicken and John admits to cutting corners with the food. The food is sent out quick and Gordon compares the kitchen to a production line. Most of the food were sent back by dissatisfied customers. After the miserable dinner service, Gordon calls all of the staff together for a meeting.

The staff admit they were embarrassed by the service. They say that it is getting harder at the restaurant as the pay checks keep getting slimmer. Gordon tells all three owners that they should all be ashamed of the state of the restaurant. He asks if they need to get someone else in to run it.

John tells Gordon that he still wants to run the restaurant but that he needs help. After the meeting Gordon inspects the kitchen storage. Where were they when Tim Burton remade Alice? Loved the movie and these two would have been better than CG characters. I am happy to know that they are open, they seem like decent guys unlike most of the arrogant toerags they get on the show. Loved the boxing match, too!

This was one of the most special episodes and it is really surprising they have managed to keep the restaurant open I wish most success to them. This was one of the best episodes I've see of Kitchen Nightmares! I was honestly thinking they would go back to their old ways like most do in past episodes of KN but I am shocked and words can't describe how glad and happy they really took Gordon's advice and are continuing their success!! Proud of these men and hope their success continues on for a very long time!

One of the best turn arounds I've seen in Kitchen Nightmares!! Hope we will see them for a 3rd time in a future episode of Kitchen Nightmares!! I ate there with my family last weekend. The food is good and the twins are cool. Interesting in a good way owners, good episode. Although they seemed difficult at first, he was able to reach them and get them to see that they would only be helping themselves by taking his advice to heart, and they seemed like decent guys who really cared about each other and about their business.

When Gordon was scraping dirt off the stained-glass pendants I wanted to reach into the screen and grab that one bluish-green one with the opalescent finish Yea me too, some of those fixtures were beautiful, but you just know they were unceremoniously tossed in the trash in favour of those ugly stainless steel mixing bowl things.

This was one of my all time favorite episodes and one of his most successful turnarounds too. Not only are they still open and doing well, the Yelp on this restaurant is quite impressive. Infact Jeff is pretty active in responding to the Yelpers not only the positive ones but the negative ones as well, he takes the feedback like a champ. I am definitely planning on visiting this place next time I'm in the greater LA area.

Great episode and glad to see two brothers that cared for each other and wanted to turn their lives and business around completely. I love seeing people open their eyes and willing to change and run with the opportunity when they see it!

And people who care!!!! This is a great show and I'm happy to see this one still open!!! This is a rare episode that I'm rewatching. I usually don't bother seeing they are still open or closed, but I'm happy to see that they are able to keep open in a sustainable rhythm.

I certainly wish them the best! Having eaten there, I have to say their pizza is really good. Their style of pizza isn't for everyone, however. The crust is thinner than most American pizzas ala real Italian pizza and had a little more salt than normal, but I still liked it. I also had one of their amazing appetizers, I only wish I had the chance to try more. I managed to speak with them since it was during a slow lunch, and they said they're doing fine, but not great.

They want to hold off on that though, because they're worried if they open a second location, they'll totally sink. Best episode of the us version. These are guys you actually want to see succeed because they appeared grateful and took the advice to heart. This is the bright spot of the series.

This episode made me retch. The gum under the tables, the filthy restaurant, the nasty food and kitchen, and the sweaty twins who served garbage.

Truly disgusting. And I do mean I actually gagged whr they were cleaning that gum -- I had to look away.
